Thailand, September 2005
Claudia and I spend some weeks of vacation together in Thailand in September 2005. We first visited bustling Bangkok and went on trips to the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market and to Ayuthaya. Ayuthaya was a former capital of Thailand and is full of relicts of that time. We spent the second part of our vacation on the relaxing Ko Samui Island in south-eastern Thailand. Our activities there included swimming, snorkeling and elephant riding.
I happened to remember the song "One Night in Bangkok" by Murray Head on our strolls through Bangkok. The song is from the musical "Chess" (tune in here).
