Sri Lanka and the Maldives, March 2009

During spring the weather in Sri Lanka and the Maldives is dry and comfortably warm. Claudia and I first flew to Colombo from where we ventured into the heartland of Sri Lanka.  After a few days we moved on by SriLankan Airlines to Malé in the middle of the Indian Ocean. From Malé it was a short hop by sea plane to the holiday resort where we enjoyed the sea, sun and peace.
